London Cocktail Week founders Siobhan Payne and Hannah Sharman-Cox have emphasised the importance of the festival this year given the imposed hospitality curfews from the UK government.

The organisers of London Cocktail Week have announced that the festival will go ahead in 2020 and run for the entire month of October.

On the eve of the 10th edition of London Cocktail Week Drinks International caught up with Siobhan Payne and Hannah Sharman-Cox, the dream team behind one of the industry’s biggest festivals.

Milk & Honey owner and Street Feast founder Jonathan Downey said the past decade of London’s bar scene has been a “desert in terms of change” and that hotel bars should not be named Best Bar in the World.

Hannah Sharman-Cox, MD of Drinkup.London joined Drinks International to discuss the success of the ninth edition of London Cocktail Week.
